{"id":1739,"date":"2015-08-01T15:14:20","date_gmt":"2015-08-01T19:14:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oacas.org\/?p=1739"},"modified":"2015-09-23T23:03:47","modified_gmt":"2015-09-24T03:03:47","slug":"youth-opportunities-fund-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oacas.org\/fr\/2015\/08\/youth-opportunities-fund-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Opportunities Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cet article est disponible seulement en anglais.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.otf.ca\/yof\" target=\"_blank\">Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF)<\/a>\u00a0provides annual grants and capacity-building supports to community-based organizations and grassroots groups serving young people who face multiple barriers to economic and social\u00a0well-being. In June 2013, the Government of Ontario released\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.children.gov.on.ca\/htdocs\/English\/documents\/topics\/youthopportunities\/steppingup\/steppingup.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Stepping Up: A Strategic Framework to Help Ontario&rsquo;s Youth Succeed<\/a>, consisting of seven themes and 20 related outcomes essential to youth\u00a0well-being. Five of these outcomes were selected to create the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.otf.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/yof_placemat1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">granting framework for the Fund<\/a>. The YOF aims to enhance the well-being of young people who face exclusion and barriers to full participation in community\u00a0life.
