OACAS invited management and staff at member agencies to an all day forum to stimulate thinking about true permanency planning for youth in care. Professionals working with youth were invited for this unique symposium held on June 3, 2009 from 9am to 4pm at the Doubletree by Hilton, 655 Dixon Road, Toronto.
Building Bridges to Belonging PresentationsThe Symposium featured speakers and presentations on a range of permanency options for youth, including Ontario experiences in adoption of older youth, foster care for youth past age 18 and other unique approaches that have proven successful in finding true and lasting connections for youth.
