Our Mission

OACAS, in support of its members, is the voice of child welfare in Ontario, dedicated to providing leadership for the achievement of excellence in the protection of children and in the promotion of their well-being within their families and communities.

This underlying foundation describes in broad terms the major purpose, vision and direction of OACAS. The fundamental belief underlying OACAS comes from a common and united voice when informing the public and persuading government to act on issues dealing with the safety, protection and the well-being of children.
